Let's just get it out there, right off the bat: THIS WAS DISGUSTING. I am so bummed out about this because I love mint-chocolate flavors but this...this was just bleh. I picked up this Cocoa Mint Mate by Tazo on a whim of holiday tea spirited-ness and I will be leaving my mint chocolate cravings to coffees and martinis.
I drink a lot of teas and mint chocolate is one of my favorite staple flavors but it is just not meant to be a tea flavor. The tea was odd to say the least. The natural mint was overshadowed by the bitter cocoa nib flavor and the flavor was dull and bitter. The mint tasted like it was burned or the leaves were improperly dried. I tried adding a hint of rock sugar, then honey and then decided sweeteners made the flavor worse.
There was just nothing I could do to make this mint tea taste better. Don't be fooled, this tea is nothing like the flavor you would suspect from the title. I won't be trying it again. I poured it out - which is super rare because even teas I don't particularly like I can still finish the cup because there's nothing worst than wasting tea.
But this one...this one was worth throwing away. Sorry Tazo, I am usually a fan of your teas but this one was a let down.
I rate this tea a 0 out of 5 stars.

(Trust me, they have better teas!)
I have really enjoyed this Calming Buddha Blend tea by Buddha Teas. I am not usually a big tea bag drinker - mostly because I feel like you lose the best parts of tea by drinking it as a fine powder but this tea was an exception. It was very flavorful, had great color and didn't taste like a bagged tea.
Ingredients for this tea include kava kava root, organic skull cap, organic lavender, organic chamomile flowers, organic St. John's wort, organic cinnamon, organic passion flowers and organic spearmint.
This herbal tea has found it's home on my office shelf and is definitely will be one of my main go-to's for my afternoon tea!
I rate this tea at 5 out of 5 stars.

I first tried this tea a few years ago when my friend Alan K'necht recommended it to me. At the time you had to order it online and was pretty pricey but totally worth the wait and the bulk order. I love the smooth taste of NaNa mint leaves.
So, when I found a few boxes of Wissotzky Tea in my local TJmaxx I did a little dance (literally) in the aisle! It had been some time since I had treated myself to this tea. They had the traditional NaNa Mint and another Spiced Tea with NaNa Mint. I bought both.
The Green Tea with NaNa Mint by Wissotzky Tea is smooth and delicious. You can drink it with or without honey. The NaNa Mint is naturally sweet with a fantastic after taste. It's one of my most favorite teas, and just like the box says, it is timeless.
I rate this mint tea a 5 out of 5 stars.

I've been drinking this tea all week at the office and it's become a favorite! Glad I ended up with two samples because I have more to drink at home. Cha Cha by Adagio Teas is a tea blend of chamomile, lemongrass and peppermint. Fragrant and light - this is the perfect tea for all day sipping. I have found I can make 3 steeps off of one serving with great flavor each time.
Steep at 212 degrees for 5 to 10 minutes. I steeped for about 7 minutes and got great flavor - if you go closer to 10 minutes you have the chance for the flavor to go a little bitter.
I rate this this herbal tea a 5 out of 5 stars!
